What is the duration of the course?

Our 8-week classes for painting are run every Sunday. Each week, you’ll be painting another piece for your portfolio. For the last two weeks, you’ll be working on your own masterpiece.

What happens during each lesson?

Each lesson is planned thoroughly for all levels, balancing learning and creativity.

What you can expect:

  • Theory Introduction: We begin with a simple lesson on technique, style and inspiration, utilizing various examples of art to make sure that you understand the concepts smoothly.

  • Sketching: You will be sketching out your painting in advance, making the process natural and comfortable, boosting your confidence as you start painting.

  • Focus on Your Artwork: In the lesson, you will have enough time to concentrate on your own artwork.

  • Personalized Guidance: Get personal feedback that’s tailored to you.

  • Enriching and Supportive Community: Enjoy being in a relaxing setting where you can connect with other artists, share ideas, and learn from one another, building confidence and feeling like a part of an active community.

At our Dubai art classes, you will create a fresh painting each week for your portfolio and finish your masterpiece in the last two weeks of the class.

What materials are provided?

We provide all the material you need, paints, brushes, canvases, etc. so that you can straight away start with your art class without any prior preparation.

Can I miss a class?

We do recommend that you attend all the sessions for the best experience, but we completely understand that sometimes life gets in the way! If you miss a session, we offer one additional class per course to help you catch up on any missed lessons. Typically, this catch-up class takes place on Saturday morning during week 7 of the course. Since all classes in our painting courses are stand-alone lessons, missing one won’t impact the rest. If you miss more than one class, don’t worry! Before each lesson, you’ll have all the materials for that class. It’s really important for us to be as accommodating as possible to ensure you have the best experience!

How is the course suitable for both beginners and intermediates?

Confident Beginner Course is for the beginner and intermediate artists, just beginning or with a little skill. You do your project individually but at your own level and speed appropriate to your ability. It’s an informal, relaxed atmosphere where beginners and intermediates learn together, share ideas, and gain confidence. Wherever your starting point, you’ll be amazed at what you can create!

What should my skill level be to attend the Expert course?

To join our expert painting course you must finish the Confident Beginner course first as it builds the foundation you need. In the expert course, you’ll explore advanced techniques, experiment with different mediums, and refine your artistic style.

What is the class size?

Our classes stay small, only 18-20 students, so you get tons of personal attention. With two qualified art teachers to guide you, you’ll never feel lost while bringing your visions to life.

Can I attend if I want to simply meet people and have some me-time, rather than become a professional artist?

Of course! Our art classes are the perfect place to make lasting friendships & memories. Whether you’re looking for a creative escape or just want to try something new, our courses are made for relaxing, meeting new people and enjoying the magic of painting together.

Are there social activities included?

Absolutely! We love bringing people together. Halfway through the paint course, we share a cozy community dinner so you can make friends with fellow artists beyond the class. And, you’ll receive 10% off all Social events. Like our paint nights, Paint and Grape classes are perfect for connecting with like-minded people. A friendly community is the heart and soul of We Love Art!
